The couple arrived on Nishinoshima the day before the shoot, traveling from Tokyo via Yonago. On the day itself they changed and ate lunch in the morning, then spent the afternoon circling Matengai, Kuniga Coast, and the roads between. Cliff wind, a concrete pier, a hill of sky. We did not rush the poses. We kept the way the day was walked. Shoots in Dozen involve ferry and local transport, so they are quoted individually.

The day before
Into Nishinoshima
From Tokyo via Yonago to Nishinoshima. Because a shoot includes travel and getting ready, we plan for arrival the day before.

Meet, change, lunch
Outfit checks and getting ready are finished in the morning, with cliff wind in mind. We keep a gap before the first frame.

Matengai
By car toward Matengai. Grass, cliff, and a wide sky. Places are chosen by gusts and footing, with safety first.

Kuniga Coast
Harbor, rocks, in between
From a fishing pier onto the rocks. Concrete, tide, and a steep shore. The walking between places is part of the day.

We do not rush the end of the day. The ride back is part of it.

The next day
A morning on the island, then back to Tokyo
The shoot is not asked to carry the whole trip. The next morning was for walking Nishinoshima. They returned to Tokyo in the afternoon.
A real shoot on Nishinoshima in September 2026. Matengai is exposed to sudden wind and uneven ground, so locations are chosen for safety first. Dozen shoots vary in cost with ferry, local transport, and the length of stay.
